Come to first fridays in Vernonia. At the Vernonia Learning Center in downtown Vernonia we will feature a holocaust display by artist Dave Anderson. Events also will be art show, musicians, food, open air market and crafts and more.
Join the fun every Thursday Night from June 11 to Sept 3, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy live music concerts. Treat your stomach to delectable morsels from the food booths which start at 2:00 pm. Wet your whistle in the garden while you overlook the amphitheater and listen to the performance. Or bring your own picnic and blanket and just lay back and relax.

Come enjoy a old time movie while relaxing in the Columbia View Park Amphitheater. Every Friday night from June 12 to Sept 4 they start at dusk and run till midnight. Bring your blankets and pillows or a chair and sit under the stars while watching the favorite movie from the past. A food booth provides snacks and popcorn so bring your family and enjoy the late summer evening.

Bands, horses, royalty, and many other entries will be on hand starting at noon Saturday, June 20, 2009, for the annual St. Helens Kiwanis Community Parade. The parade route is down Columbia Boulevard and finishes in Olde Towne.
The parade will feature a wide variety of entrants, including ball teams, school groups, antique cars, church groups, businesses, clowns and even a few politicians.
Spectacular fireworks and festivities on the historic Staint Helens Riverfront in Olde Towne. This is an event you can just enjoy, or be a part of it all. This is a volunteer supported contribution backed display of community enthusiasm!
